  3. Colles’ fracture (กระดูกบริเวณปลายท่อนแขนหัก) ผู้ป่วยลื่นล้มมือยันพื้นและเจ็บบริเวณข้อมือมาก กระดูกหักที่บริเวณนี้ สามารถพบได้ตั้งแต่เริ่มหมดประจำเดือนจนถึงวัยชรา กระดูกหักชนิดนี้ไม่เป็นอันตรายถึงชีวิต เพียงแต่อาจเกิดความวิกลรูปหรือใช้งานไม่สะดวก

  4. Colles’ fracture (กระดูกบริเวณปลายท่อนแขนหัก)

  5. Hip fracture (กระดูกบริเวณข้อสะโพกหัก) • มีความเสี่ยงต่อการเสียชีวิตสูงถึง 15-20% • มีความเสี่ยงต่อความพิการไม่สามารถช่วยเหลือตนเองได้สูงถึงร้อยละ 50 • มีอันตรายสูงสุดและจะต้องป้องกันไม่ให้เกิดการหักให้มากที่สุด (J thromb haemost 2005, J Bone Miner Res. 1997)

  25. Benefit of Vertebroplasty • Significantly reduce or eliminate pain in up to 90% of patients • Prevent old compression fractures from further collapse • Have a short recovery time • Reduce spinal deformity • Provide the patient with an early return to daily activities
