Sequential, Comparative, and Cause-Effect Relationships 16-19. Main Ideas and Author’s Approach 16-19. SQUADS #4 “10th Grade Reading” Success Criteria -I will know I am successful when I use context clues, both inside and outside of the connecting sentence(s) and paragraph(s) to understand unfamiliar words within complicated passages.

  2. Quick Note! • Today’s question are based on the printed passage you will receive shortly. After reading your passage individually or as a group, choose the best answer to each question. You may refer to the passages as often as necessary. • You have 4 Minutes to read your passage!

  3. 10th Grade Reading #1. For George Lopez, what happened during his “I Hate Me” years? A. He didn’t have a manager. B. He didn’t have a life. C. He felt like a stray cat on the loose. D. He essentially became a “nobody”.
