Enhancing Support and Collaboration for Learning Support Assistants (LSAs)

This initiative focuses on the professional development and integration of Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) in educational settings. Key strategies include inviting LSAs to curriculum and policy meetings, conducting lesson observations by year-end, and setting aside non-contact time for LSAs weekly. Additionally, structured continuing professional development (CPD) will be provided, involving tutors in planning processes, and facilitating team-building days. Formal meetings will ensure open communication about learner progress, addressing learners' requests for consistent support and improved ICT skills among staff.
