  4. Pack Activity Highlight This Month: Annual Planning and JTE

  5. Annual Planning Conference Each Pack should hold a planning conference in July: • Set up program for next year • Be sure to work around school dates • Refer to JTE requirements to ensure a good program and earn your JTE awards

  6. Some Hints: • Remember that your next planning meeting is in July • If you don’t plan past July, you will be scrambling to catch up next summer • Plan your program through October to avoid this

  7. Summertime Activity Award • Remember to plan for this: • At least one event June, July, August • At least 50% of active membership must attend • Dens with 50% attendance get Den award • Boys at all three events get award pin • Help yourself by keeping attendance records

  9. Planning Ahead • Boys that graduate Kindergarten in June are eligible to join Cub Scouts • Recruiting them gives them the whole summer to become part of the Pack • June 17th is end of school in San Marcos and Escondido
