  4. Steps for Successful Projects • IDEA! • Use your committee • Keep contact with the organization • Delegate tasks if needed (especially for LSSP) Your goal is to create a quality project that EVERYONE will enjoy!

Ways to Organize and Create Your Committee • Ask for your members' opinions • Finding Chairs, Co-Chairs at projects • Find a way to motivate your committee members • Create a small icebreaker at the beginning • Create Subcommittees • ex. Arts For All- Donations, Arts and Crafts, Entertainment, and Publicity • Find ways to delegate work to your committee members so they feel like they are contributing • Get to know your committee members personally

How to find and keep contact with Organizations • Invite coordinators Talk about their organizations • Let them check out what CKI is all about! • Create Excel Sheet with contact information • include all possible information of organization to pass down to all VPS's • Get to know them personally • Evaluations • send out google doc website suggestions/ evaluations

  7. How To Relate Projects to DSI/ ISI • DSI - Living Healthy, Living Life • i.e. American Public Health Association, American Cancer Society • Check out your school's Student Health Center or collaborate with a health-related organization on campus • ISI - Focusing on the Future: Children • i.e. Boys and Girls Club, Big Brother Big Sister • Remember to promote the DSI and ISI to your club!
