Ilias Atwani Shares His Experience of Visiting Two Inuit Villages

Ilias Atwani describes his visit to the Inuit villages as a memorable and stimulating experience. During his time in the villages, when he inquired about Noahu2019s wife and two young girls who he saw were busy making mittens, he was told that the mother of one of the girls worked for his company, and that Noahu2019s family looked after the girl in her motheru2019s absence. That was one of the incidents that showed him the kind of mutual aid and community synergy that existed at the heart of Inuit culture. As Ilias has always enjoyed exploring different cultures, he was glad to have got the opportunity to live this experience.

Noah and his family were also happy to have a friendly guest like Ilias who showed utmost respect and curiosity to learn about their culture. Noah even gave him the traditional anorak, a hooded jacket making him feel as if he was a part of his culture. Ilias Atwani has been a part of a recruitment campaign in the Inuit village of Kangiqsujuaq (Wakeham Bay) since a long time. Other than
