  2. Purpose • The purpose of our experiment was to find the relation between altitude and temperature. • We decided to do this experiment because we wanted to know if there is a correlation to the length of time snow remains on higher altitudes.

  7. Conclusion • At the end of our experiment we can conclude that our hypothesis was correct. In that as the altitude increases the temperature will decrease. • This explains why snow remains on top of mountains rather than staying on the ground for long periods of time.
