2. Prepositional Phrases A prepositional phrase is a group of related words that begins with a preposition and usually ends with the object of the preposition. Prepositions- Prepositions can point out time, place, direction, and relationship.

4. Appositives An appositive is a noun or pronoun that renames or stands for another noun.
