DRIVER CODE OF CONDUCT • Applies to anyone driving a vehicle on Site • Requires drivers to hold current valid licenses • Provides for penalties &/or disciplinary action to be taken for non compliance eg warning notice, suspension or cancellation of service contract or business arrangements • Covers: times of operation, preferred routes, parking restrictions, location of school bus routes Developed and circulated May 2007

  4. TRUCK ENTRY/EXIT ALL TRUCKS MUST ENTER & EXIT THE BERRIMA SITE Via GATE 2 (Security Gate) ie THE WEIGHBRIDGE ENTRY OFF TAYLOR AVE (see Green Arrow next slide) Developed and circulated May 2007

Mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (when NOT inside truck) • Safety Glasses • Safety Boots • Safety Helmet • High Visibility (HiViz) clothing (HiViz Vest as a minimum) • Other designated Australian Standards approved personal protective equipment where signposted Developed and circulated May 2007

  9. Plant Security • Drivers are responsible for the security of their own equipment. • BCSC reserves the right to search vehicles leaving the site. • Signed authority is required to remove BCSC equipment from the site. Developed and circulated May 2007

Alcohol And Other Drugs Policy The following points apply to ALL employees & contractors on site: • NO alcohol or drugs allowed on site • R.B.T & Drug Tests apply • R.B.T will apply to work groups • Drug Tests done as a blanket test • People over the limit will be asked to leave the site Developed and circulated May 2007

  11. Alcohol And Other Drugs Policy cont’d The following alcohol limits apply: Provisional license drivers <0.00% BAC Operators of heavy vehicles <0.02% BAC Developed and circulated May 2007

  12. Smoking Policy All enclosed areas within the plant and any other areas where a non-smoker may be at risk of inhaling tobacco smoke are declared NO SMOKING AREAS Developed and circulated May 2007

  13. Parking Restrictions Parking is NOT permitted Between No Parking signs or in designated No Parking Areas On roadway between Machine Shop & No. 5 Kiln Developed and circulated May 2007

  14. TIPPERS! • AFTER tipping a load, Tippers are NOT permitted to drive forward from the tipping point until the tip trailer is fully lowered. • Non compliance may result in disciplinary action being taken, eg a request to immediately leave the site. Developed and circulated May 2007

During Plant Emergencies • No vehicular access permitted to site ie gates will be closed during an emergency • Emergency Hooter will sound • Drivers are to stop what they are doing; return to their vehicles; turn off engine; remain in cabin & contact CCR (if in possession of mobile phone) • Await further instructions from an Emergency Warden Developed and circulated May 2007

  16. Environmental Requirements • Report, contain or control all spillages. • Fuel and oil MUST NOT be allowed to enter ducts or drains. • To report spillages contact Shift Process Controller Ext 262 or outside/mobile 48602262 Developed and circulated May 2007

  17. First Aid Facilities & Requirements First Aid Room 8 hours per day Mon – Thurs 7.00am – 3.30pm Friday 6.00am – 2.30pm During kiln overhauls 24 hours Developed and circulated May 2007
