TRIANGLE A TRIANGLE HAS 3 SIDES. THIS TRIANGLE IS AN EQUILADERAL TRIANGLE.
SQUARE A SQUARE HAS FOUR SIDES. ALL OF THE SIDES ARE THE EXACT SAME LENGTH.
OCTAGON AN OCTAGON HAS 8 SIDES. LIKE THE SQUARE, ALL THE SIDES ARE THE SAME LENGTH.
rectangle A rectangle has 4 sides. The lines parallel are the same length.
CIRCLE THE CIRCLE IS PERFECTLY ROUND. IT IS LIKE THE SPHERE BUT IN 2-D FORM.
SPHERE A SPHERE IS COMPLETELY ROUND. IT HAS NO VERTICES, NO EDGES, AND NO FACES.
LINES PARALLEL LINES PERPENDICULAR LINES INTERSECTING LINES Parallel lines are lines the run next to each other but they never touch. Perpendicular lines are unlike the parallel lines. They cross each other in the middle. Intersecting lines cross in an X shape.
Cylinder A cylinder has two faces. It has no edges or vertices. Also, the sides are perfectly round.
Cube The cube has 6 faces. It also has 12 edges and 8 vertices. All of the sides are the exact same length.
Rectangularprism The rectangular prism has 6 faces, 8 vertices and 8 edges.
Cone The cone has 1 vertices right at the top. It has one face and 0 edges because it is round.
