What is theOrganisation of Sports Federations of Oceania? • The Organisation of Sports Federations of Oceania aims to unite regional sports federations to: • Promote sport in the Pacific and protect common interests • Cooperate together to share knowledge and resources • Coordinate development to maximise the cost effective use of resources • Collect and distribute relevant information • Support one another and respective activities • Maintain the authority and autonomy of members • To measure and build the wellbeing of athletes in the Pacific • Establish and develop partnerships – ONOC, PGC, PSP, OAF, FISU Oceania etc.

  4. IF/RF Investment in sport in Oceania Sports invest in excess of 65 million dollars every 4 years

  10. Governance & LeadershipPillar • Review Constitution and Annual Operational Plan in accordance with presidential electoral cycle • Develop Policies and Procedures which are reviewed annually • Be a Leader, representing sport in the region • Ensure transparency and apply best practice policies

Advocacy Pillar • Represent the needs of members to external organisations and Governments • Uphold and promote the importance of sport to health and well- being organisations within Oceania • Realise collective bargaining opportunities • Strengthen our association with Pacific Games Council, ONOC and other regional sport authorities

Stakeholder Engagement Pillar • Communicate regularly and effectively with members and stakeholders • Establish and maintain a fit for purpose communication platform • Develop a stakeholder engagement plan • Understand the needs of and provide guidance to members and stakeholders • Maintain an annual coordinated calendar of member activities

  13. Organisational Capacity & Sustainability • Secure revenue to meet the needs of OSFO’s annual operations • Formalise Memoranda of Understanding with key partners • Engage professional staff where appropriate to meet the needs of the Strategic and Operational Plan
