  3. Goals for EOL Education • Identify preclinical education gaps • Improve current curriculum • Cultivate excitement and interest • Develop interpersonal skills • Clinical Exposure • Have fun

  4. Current UM Curriculum • EPEC lectures (e.g. Breaking Bad News, Pain Management, etc.) • Ethics discussions and debate (e.g. Legal Scenarios, Assisted Suicide, etc.) • Not longitudinal

  5. Target Topics • Core curriculum development • Speaker Series • Video Series • Communication Skills Workshop • Shadowing Opportunities • Monthly Movie Night • Student Interest Group

  6. Implementation Plan • Work closely with mentor, Dr. Pat Caralis, administration, fellow students to achieve target goals • Curriculum Planning Committee Student Representative • Student Assessment and Evaluation
