  2. Guidebook for School Board Elections • First time that the various local bills that pertain to school board elections have been collected together. • Joint effort with the N.C. School Board Association • Draft will be sent to county election offices and local school board attorneys for review of correctness of information

  3. Guidebook for School Board Elections • Make sure you respond ASAP as to the draft after you also consult your local school board attorneys • Guidebooks to be distributed in May and will include general information and detailed information as to each county.

  6. Election Law Book • New election law book will be produced after the General Assembly adjourns. • The election law reference on the website will be updated as bills pass. • County directors will be notified as to local bills affecting counties. • Suggestions to improve law book welcomed

Information as to Municipal Elections THESE TWO ITEMS ARE ON THE OPENING PAGE OF OUR WEBSITE • 2005 Municipal Election Calendar Lists dates and deadlines as to filing registering, and the election. • 2005 Municipal Elections Schedule Lists date and type of each of the over 500 municipality elections.
