Embracing My Latin Roots: Sports, Culture, and My Beloved Rottweiler

I proudly identify as Puerto Rican and Dominican, where sports play a vital role in my life. Baseball is my heart, especially when cheering for the Mets, who have only won championships twice—in 1969 and 1986. I admire boxing legend Miguel Cotto, who overcame challenges, including a notorious cheat in Antonio Margarito, to claim victory in their rematch. My passion for MMA shines through my admiration for Anderson Silva. Alongside my sports love, I cherish my 3-year-old Rottweiler, Nubia, who brings joy to my daily life through long walks and playful antics.

Sports is like religion • Baseball • My favorite team is the Mets • Mets only won the championship twice in1969and 1986 • Boxing • My favorite fighter is Miguel Cotto • Miguel Cotto was badly beaten in his first fight against Antonio Margarito, who cheated but using a chemical to make his hand raps as hard as plaster. Cotto demanded a rematch when he found out that he cheated. Cotto beat Margorito 2 years later. • MMA • My favorite martial artist is Anderson Silva • Silva defended his title successfully on July,7 2012

  4. Man’s Best Friend • I have a 3 year old German Rottweiler. • I had her since 2 weeks. Her name is Nubia. • I love taking her on long walks through the park • She is about 125 lbs and usually jumps every bench she see’s.
