Strategic Advisory GeSCI tailors the strategic advice rendered to the local context to ensure that it is relevant and takes into consideration local conditions, resources and constraints. • ICT in Education policies and strategic plans; • Deployment or action plans; • Institutional and staffing changes; • Budgets and resourcing plans; • Partnerships forged and the successful deployment of ICTs.

  5. Knowledge Tools GeSCI develops knowledge tools to address cross-cutting issues that are faced by both existing and potential partner countries in one or more thematic areas. • TCO tool; • Content evaluation tool; • Planning tools; • Guidelines and manuals and frameworks.

Thematic areas and research Research activities are carried out in collaboration with national, regional and global research networks in both our partner countries and donor countries. • Educational Management and ICTs • ICT Infrastructure, Connectivity and Accessibility • Integration of ICTs into Teaching and Learning • Teacher Education and ICTs • E-content Development and Evaluation
