Spanish 1A (7th Grade) • First Half of Spanish 1 • Meets Everyday all Year • Textbook (¡Exprésate!) • Travels with them • Workbook in Binder • Variety of topics • Greetings, alphabet, #’s, time, colors, classes, school supplies, likes & dislikes, weather, family members, rooms of the house, culture,… • Communication Goals • A student should be able to describe himself, talk about his city, home, family, activities and school.

Spanish 1B (8th Grade) • Second Half of Spanish 1 • Meets Everyday all Year • Textbook (¡Exprésate!) • Travels with them • Workbook in Binder • Variety of topics • Foods, table setting, ordering in a restaurant, daily routines, fitness, body, shopping, talking on the phone, holidays, talking about one’s plans, travel, getting around town, culture,…

  5. Typical Class • Warm-up (review of yesterday and copy down homework in agenda, turn in homework) • Introduction to material • Practice, practice, practice (together, in groups, w/ partners or alone) • Review of day’s activities and upcoming items
