Agency set up for multiple PCC’s Where an agency has multiple PCC’s in a single or across multiple locations it is possible to configure Travelport Rooms and More™ to have commissions paid to each location or to have all commissions paid to a single location. This can be achieved either at the PayPal level or the Travelport Rooms and More™ level. Looking at the following combinations may help in making a decision for your Agency. Consider the following:- How many PCC’s (or individual offices)? How many PayPal accounts and in which currencies? Who does the commission statement need to be sent to? TIP • It may be helpful to draw a grid, and define, for each PCC, who their statement needs to be sent to and type of PayPal account. Examples on the following pages may assist with this. Travelport Confidential
GDS Integration • There are configuration options in the Travelport GDS’s which are used by some agents which will prevent this integration taking place:- • Galileo/Apollo – Mandatory Custom Check • Worldspan – World File Edit Mandatory Custom Check in Galileo & Apollo will prevent segments being automatically created in the GDS and Travelport Rooms and More™ being unable to create these will produce an error message to the user. (Bookings will still be made with the Aggregator) Agencies need to determine how best to deal with this restriction and options are available on the next page.
