  3. Our Mission - Unite the business community and government to create wealth, jobs and improve the quality of life consistent with the culture and environment of the Powell Valley for the benefit of all citizens.

How We Do It…. • Develop a coordinating strategy to evaluate existing capabilities and opportunities. • Create an environment for business and community development. • Provide for existing business expansion through leadership, analytic services, and entrepreneurial training opportunities. • Expand our economic system by recruiting new business consistent with the culture and environment of the Powell Valley. Said another way, we support, encourage, and educate, but most importantly just like government, we try and stay out of the way and allow them to be the economic engines that drive our region forward

Economic Value of Gateway West Projects • 2013 Construction Estimates • Approximately $3,150,000 into local economy through construction and sub trades • Ongoing full time equivalent jobs • 37across 4 businesses • PEP is working on additional projects for Gateway West with other entrepreneurs who are waiting to see how the city supports these developments
