  1. Objectives 3/20/2014 Quietly work on the WARMUP!!!! WARM UP: On the colored card create 1?from the Evolution section &on the white card create 1 ? from the Geologic Times section. **Your questions will be used for the White board review game so you MUST make your answers short. **Please provide your question and you SHORT answer: GOAL: • I will ask question about ½ life or genetics • I will learn from mistakes I made on the Evolution Test • I will REVIEW REVIEW REVIEW AGENDA • Evolution Test- learn from your mistakes!! • Stations Review • White Board Review HWK: Test tomorrow

Station #4 • Describe the importance of the ozone layer. • Describe the difference between prokaryotes & eukaryotes. • What are cyanobacteria & why are they important? • In what era was the “Cambrian explosion”? • What happened to end the Paleozoic era? • What happened to end the Mesozoic era? When was this? • What era is present day?

  6. Station #5 • What is the difference between relative and absolute dating? • Explain the law of superposition- does this represent absolute or relative dating? • What is half-life? • How many half-lives have occurred if there is 100% of the sample left? 25% of the sample left?
