  2. Stable Food Supply • In order to survive you need to know where your next meal is coming from. A stable food supply is gained through farming and domesticating animals.

  3. Mesopotamia had this because archeologist have found the remains of: • A Plow used to grow crops • An irrigation system including dams, canals, and reservoirs

  4. Social Structure • A division of the entire population where a class or group has more rights then another. This can include different jobs or social levels.

  5. Mesopotamia had this because archeologist have found the remains of: • Different size house which had the priests living in the ziggurats, the upper class living in two story houses, and the common class lived in small, mud brick houses.

  6. Government • A system in charge of directing peoples behaviors and making life orderly.

  7. Mesopotamia had this because archeologist have found the remains of: • A priest who was in charge living in the ziggurat • Steels showing armies and chariots • Written laws

  8. Religion • A set of beliefs and worship
