  6. NICHOLAS J. PIERCE Nick Pierce is President and Managing Partner of Pierce Consulting Partners. His 35 years of executive search experience consists of serving in senior positions within three top-five global retainer search firms, including functioning as a partner for Heidrick & Struggles, the largest retainer search firm in the world at the time. He founded Pierce Consulting Partners in 2002 as a high-end firm focused exclusively on upper-management assignments. Nick has served as Chairman of the Membership Committee, Southeast Region as well as a member of the National Executive Committee for Business Executives for National Security (BENS), a national non-partisan organization of prominent executives assisting our military and government agencies on national security issues such as Terrorist Funds Tracking and Cyber Security. Author of The Executive’s Guide to Finding a New Job, Nickhas been featured several times on Sky Radio/Forbes In-Flight Radio, has been listed as one of America’s Best Recruiters (US Airways publication) and has been profiled in the HarperCollins book, The New Career Makers..   7. RICHARD J. MEURIS Rich Meuris is a Partner and the leader of our Industrial Practice. His retained search experience includes working for Heidrick & Struggles as well as a high-end boutique firm. Previously Rich served as a senior consultant in Brussels, Belgium for global management consulting company Accenture. Additional experience includes senior business analysis roles for AON Corporation and Kemper Insurance. Areas of search experience includes C-Level assignments for public and private companies in Industrial, Consumer and Financial Services segments. Rich has successful experience with CEO, CFO, COO and CIO projects as well as general management, finance, sales, manufacturing/operations, and end-to-end supply chain functional assignments. Clients have included: Oshkosh Corporation, JLG Industries, Solutia, Corporate Express, Dresser, Dresser-Rand, Invensys, Lennox International, Merck, Nuveen Investments, Owens Corning , TD Ameritrade, TRW, Valmont Industries, Weight Watchers, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, W.W. Grainger among other leading companies.   8. SUE MCLAUGHLIN Susan McLaughlin is a Partner with Pierce Consulting Partners. She possesses more than 30 years of senior management experience as an operating executive at Citibank, Kodak, BellSouth and AGL Resources. Her success in leading numerous businesses in a variety of industries has been attributed, in part, to her ability to attract and develop high performing teams. Over the past several years she has run a business advisory service focused on providing counsel on operational strategy and execution to small/medium size businesses and to private equity firms. She currently holds one of two Battery Ventures board seats at Prime Revenue, sits on the advisory board of private equity backed Purchasing Power and is a Trustee at Mary Baldwin College where she chairs the Finance Committee. Past board roles have included Target Corporation, Delphi Corporation, Ntelos Telecommunications, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Rochester, the Buffalo branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and Spelman College. She is an active member of The Committee of 200, where she has played an active role in mentoring, advising and supporting young women leaders. Her business advisory clients represent a broad base of industries including transaction processing, financial services, media, equipment distribution and energy and several private equity firms.   9. KAREN GREENBAUM Karen Greenbaum is a Partner with the firm and is the leader of our Professional Services Practice. She possesses more than 30 years in professional services as an operating executive at Mercer Consulting, including serving as President and Chief Operating Officer for their US business. She also served as Chief Operating Officer for Nixon Peabody LLP, a global 100 law firm. Karen has also provided leadership through a broad range of business cycles, leveraging talent to drive profitable growth and maximize shareholder value. She is adept at assessing, attracting and motivating key talent. Karen has managed businesses with P&L’s up to $1 billion and understands the importance that the right candidate can have on increasing market reputation and business effectiveness. Through her many years as a senior advisor to top companies and her professional experience running businesses, she understands the importance of upfront planning to ensure the successful match of candidate and firm. As the leader of our Professional Services Practice, she brings in-depth knowledge of the unique needs of professional services businesses. She is an active member of The Committee of 200 where she is on the Board and serves as co-chair of the Membership Committee, focused on recruiting talented business executives – corporate and entrepreneurs.   10. JOE DAVIDSON Joe Davidson is a Partner with Pierce Consulting Partners. He has been engaged in executive search and management consulting for over twenty-five years with global professional services companies, boutique search firms, and as a talent management executive in the insurance industry. Joe specializes in financial services, professional services, retail, consumer products, and telecommunications industries. At the C-level, his assignments have focused on finance and human capital leadership roles along with other senior executive positions. Joe has also led executive recruiting functions for major consulting firms, Mercer and PwC, along with health insurers BlueCross/BlueShield Tennessee and HealthMarkets. This experience gives him a unique perspective on his client’s needs and Joe began his career with Financial Search Corporation, a finance and accounting boutique. MATT EDWARDS Matt Edwards is a Partner with Pierce Consulting Partners.  His retained search experience includes working for Spencer Stuart and Korn/Ferry International along with starting up two boutique retained search firms.  Matt drives business through deep candidate and client relationships that he has built over his 10 years of being in the retained executive search profession.  He has deep working relationships and networks within the Consumer, Industrial and Technology verticals.  Matt serves many clients that are involved with Private Equity and Venture Capital investors. Clients have included: Dun & Bradstreet, Primrose Schools, Education Corporation of America, JW Aluminum, Food Lion, Acuity Brands, NN, Inc., Red Hat, Oldcastle, DHL Corporation, Mohawk Industries, Rio Tinto Alcan, Discover and Fiserv. Areas of search experience include his execution and completion of well over 150 searches in functional areas of sales, finance, marketing, general management, along with COO, CFO and CMO positions.  Matt has considerable experience assisting companies with General Manager, Vice President and Director level positions as well.  Before his career in executive search, Matt served as an analyst in a commodities trading company and also worked for Northwestern Mutual.   12. NOEL FOLLRATH Noel Follrath is a Partner with Pierce Consulting Partners. With over twenty years in executive search combined with a successful career in the financial services industry, he has served a wide variety of clients including investment banks, commercial banks, investment management firms, financial processing companies, venture capital firms and industrial conglomerates. Prior to his association with the firm he was a Partner with Ray & Berndtson, an international retainer search firm. Noel’s search experience in the financial transaction sector includes C-level and senior impact professional recruitment. Prior to his experience in executive search, Noel served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Bank South Corporation.   13. TIM GARMAGER Tim Garmager is a Partner with Pierce Consulting Partners and is focused on Professional Services, Healthcare and General industries. He has spent over 25 years in professional services having served as a U.S. and Global practice leader and Senior Partner at Deloitte where he founded and led their human resources consulting practice as well as their integrated healthcare consulting practice. As a highly regarded healthcare strategy, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness consultant, Tim was recognized for giving confidence to, and gaining the trust of, his executive clients. Prior to his consulting career, Tim worked in various management positions within Fortune 500 companies and served on President Reagan’s commission to control federal costs (The Grace Commission). He was a principal author of the Commission’s report to the President, and received a distinguished service award from the White House in recognition of his contributions. For the past six years, Tim has remained an active leadership development consultant to large public and private organizations, and a highly regarded executive coach. Along with his extensive consulting experience, Tim’s unique ability to help his clients succeed as leaders provides added dimensions to his abilities to identify and engage the best possible executive candidates. He remains available to clients for transitional and behavioral coaching engagements. Tim began his career at the Quaker Oats Company.
