Why Certification? • Prestige • Required for certain positions or bonuses • Validates knowledge • OJT alone is insufficient • Book knowledge alone is insufficient • Certification + OJT create the bestIT Admins • Certain Microsoft Partnership relationships require certain staff certification requirements • Employability potential

How is Certification Obtained? • Certification is accomplished by passing exams and not by attending courses • But, most people cannot pass the exams without taking one or more courses • Therefore, your job is to recommend courses toward certification • Suggestion: Point your clients to: www.e-Squillace.com and point to: “Strategies for Passing Certification Exams”,a PowerPoint web-based presentation
