Adaptation under the UNFCCC

Proposals under discussion include a global adaptation goal, nationally determined contributions on adaptation and strengthening of institutional arrangements Adaptation in the future 2015 Agreement (to come into effect in 2020) Expected to provide an additional incentive for adaptation at the national level and help to create absorptive capacity for adaptation finance leading to full-scale implementation.
