About the school • Country: Bashundhara, Dhaka, Bangladesh • IB Region: Asia-Pacific • Language of Instruction: English • Number of IB Students: 250 • Founded in 1999, but started DP in 2005 • Day School and Private School • Tuition for DP: $17,700 • Uniforms: white collared shirts and gray pants

  3. Fun facts • Contains a 25 meter heated swimming pool • Contains a theatre with 360 seats • Field trips include traveling to Spain, Turkey, China, Malaysia, and Thailand.

  4. Curriculum/special courses • IB starts from Pre-school to 12th grade • They offer all the same classes with a couple of additions such as: • Information Technology in Global Society • Bengali Literature (HL and SL) • Japanese Literature (SL)

Culture • Very festive and colorful during celebrations and holidays • Clothing very bright, extravagant, and colorful as well • Fine arts are a major part of a Bangladeshi lifestyle such as dance, music, and acting • Families are usually very close and large • Food is normally rich and spicy, usually containing rice.
