• Number patterns: Count by fives.

Example: 5 x 9 = 45 or 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45

6 x 5 = 30 or 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30

5 x 12 = 60 or 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60

• Arrays: 5 rows of 3 is 15 3 rows of 5 is 15

5 x 3 = 15 3 x 5 = 15
