Global Aggregation • Mod 34.09 raised by ESB CS at Mods Meeting 24 (29.09.09) • Mods Panel recommended setting up Working Group to explore further • Working Group 1, held on 19th November 2009 • SEMO & RA met December 1st to develop options paper • Options impact assessed for Working Group 2, held on 23rd February 2010 2

  2. Global Aggregation • At Working Group 2, MRSO proposed option E • Further assessments completed • Working Group 3 held on 27th April 2010 • Decision to consult on Options A+ and E • Consultation Paper issued by SEMO for response by 19th July 2010 3

  3. Global Aggregation • Nine responses received to Consultation • Five responses favour Option E • Three responses favour Option A+ • One response recommended either option 4

  4. Global Aggregation • Of Participants who responded - • Two responses favour Option E • Three responses favour Option A+ • Remaining three responses supporting Option E from service providers 5

  5. Global Aggregation • Working Group 4 scheduled for August 2010 • There is no clear consensus from the consultation responses • SEMO proposes that two T&SC modifications be drafted • One modification for each Option 6

Global Aggregation • SEMO requests approval to seek fuller impact assessments • Noting response from BGE, SEMO recommends Participants also impact assess system changes for both Options • Working Group 4 can review and discuss both modifications and costs • If no consensus can be reached, both modifications should be submitted to Modifications Committee in September with full Working Group report for final decision 7
