Barley Seed Treatment Trial at Billa Billa, QLD: Awaken ST Shows Best Performance

The 2013 Loveland Agri Products trial data from Billa Billa, QLD, focused on Barley Seed Treatment. The trial involved a fully randomized and replicated plot work setup with plot sizes of 10m x 2m, totaling an area of 20m² per plot. Treatments, including Standard Farmer Practice (SFP) - Dividend @ 1.3L/T Urea applied pre-plant @ 100kg/ha, were applied to the seed. Results indicated Barley Yield T/ha LSD (p=0.05) = 0.447 with a coefficient of variation (CV) of 12.68. Grain analysis and rainfall data for 2012 and 2013 at Billa Billa were also recorded. The trial concluded that Awaken ST @ 3.75L/T, either with a fungicide seed treatment or on bare seed, demonstrated the best performance and value for money in Barley production.
