  3. 石窟艺术 想一想 1、艺术风格 继承中国传统雕塑艺术， 又吸收外来的佛教艺术。 2、代表作 云冈石窟——山西大同 龙门石窟——河南洛阳 莫高窟——甘肃敦煌

  5. 敦煌莫高窟 又叫千佛洞，有1000多个洞窟，现在有几百个。现存壁画总面积45000多平方米，共有塑像2400多尊。

  6. 追根溯源 宗教善于利用艺术来宣扬教义，扩大影响。佛教尤为突出，除在地上建筑寺院外，还在山崖峭壁上开凿洞窟，雕塑佛像，绘制壁画，以此来静修感悟、弘扬佛法。石窟起源于印度，相传是为了纪念佛教始祖释迦牟尼而建，因为他是在山洞中修道成佛的。
