Queensland Coal Infrastructure • Expansions at the Port of Abbot Point: T2-T9 & Multi Cargo Facility • T1 Abbot Point Coal Terminal 50Mtpa completed September 2011 • T2 BHP Billiton 30Mtpa (2017), up to 60Mtpa • T3 Hancock 30Mtpa (June 2014), up to 60Mtpa (2018) • T4-T9: 6 x 30Mtpa stockpiles (first coal from 2017) • - Anglo American • - Macmines • - North Queensland Coal Terminal consortium • - Rio Tinto • - Vale • - Waratah Coal • Multi Cargo Facility: 12 berths • Total by 2020 = 350 million tonnes per annum

Worldwide, LNG is growing rapidly 15 countries have existing LNG projects – many are expanding Currently, Australia has over $200 billion worth of LNG projects proposed, with $50 billion (3 projects) committed for Queensland 12 projects under construction worldwide $A160 billion capex 76 mtpa of additional production The Australian significance 8/12 projects (3 QLD) Responsible for 70% of additional global capacity (42% WA, 28% QLD) $142 billion capex Largest ever resource projects constructed in QLD/WA & Australian history Potential to become Australia’s largest export industry – estimated to be over $17 billion in export revenue from QLD from 2016 Queensland in the world LNG market
