Create Survey • Go to http://bit.ly/fVVxKi (or https://cityuhk.qualtrics.com, please input the link to browser) • Enter your special username/password • Create Survey > Quick Survey Builder • Create a New Question • Observe different types of questions • Let’s make a few MC questions *access Qualtrics at http://go.cityu.hk/qualtrics when your personal account is ready

  7. Distribute Survey • Check out Look & Feel • Go through Survey Options • Preview Survey • Launch Survey View Results View Report (click Next Page to see more) Add Graph Create Public Report Responses

  8. Application Suggestion for m-Learning (1) • Create a survey with 1 non-trivial MC question • Post survey line in Bb course site • Assigned 5 min in class for group discussion among students • Ask students to respond via mobile devices • Examine results with students

  9. Application Suggestion for m-Learning (2) Create a survey with 1 Text Entry question Post survey link in Bb course site Stop teaching 5 min before the end of the class Ask students to provide feedback via mobile device in 1 minute Examine result afterward

Suggested Workflow for Online Survey • Create a survey (jump blocks may be needed) • Set “Look & Feel” and “Survey Options” accordingly • “Preview Survey” • “Launch Survey” • “Distribute Survey” (via e-mail, web link, etc.) • “View Report” online • “Download Data” for further analysis • Erase all data on Qualtrics
