Meta-Analysis: GDM and CHB Infection in Parturients

This study analyzed 22 PubMed records to investigate the relationship between Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) and Chronic Hepatitis B (CHB) infection in pregnant individuals. Thirteen articles were excluded for various reasons, leading to a meta-analysis of 14 studies. Results indicate a possible link between GDM and CHB infection. The study discusses causal diagrams, the combined effect, and reasons for observed outcomes.
