PLANTING RICE ON BUNDS • Prepare The Field Normally • Draw Furrows Two Feet Apart • Apply Water in the Furrows • Plant 4 Inches High From Bottom of Furrow • Plant to Plant Distance Six Inches • Keep Water Standing in Furrows one week • Then Apply Water Twice a Week for One Week • After That Apply Water Once a Week at best • In Case of Rain, Irrigation is Not Required

  3. 26.GOOD POINTS OF TECHNIQUE • SAVES WATER ATLEAST 50 PERCENT • KEEPS MIRO-CLIMATE LESS HUMID • LESS ATTACK OF DISEASES • IMPROVES QUALITY OF PRODUCE • IMPROVES SOIL TEXTURE • DEVELOPS USEFUL MICRO-FLORA AND FAUNA • CAUTION: Requires weed control
