Program Viability Review

The Program Viability Review (PVR) aims to swiftly identify at-risk programs beyond the standard 8-year APR cycle. It facilitates proactive measures for programs with low enrollment and graduation rates, ensuring alignment with the university's mission and priorities. PVR prioritizes timely decisions on low-performing programs that do not support institutional goals, while preserving essential programs. The process is data-driven, incorporates strategic value analysis, and emphasizes transparency and stakeholder involvement to maximize efficient resource use.
