  2. Cosmology - the study of the origin and changes of the universe. • The Big Bang Theory: move backward in your mind to "time zero", when all galaxies where close together. The matter was so tightly packed and dense, it was under extreme pressure. • This caused the BIG BANG and galaxies started to move apart. We see the Red Shift happening and this gives evidence to the Big Bang.

  3. Two scientists discovered radiation coming from space with their radio telescope. After careful checking of equipment, they concluded that it was the remains of the energy from the BIG BANG. • There are still no theories about what the universe looked like just before the BIG BANG.
