  1. 3 things to bring when transitioning to a toddler classroom That day came when our son was finally ready to step up and out of the baby classroom. In the beginning, this was very exciting news as it was a huge step for him to develop. His classroom teachers help us plan our moves carefully daycare near me now, taking into account his physical development and what is safest for him. Then the visit of change began ... and new emotions hit me like never. Here are the three biggest changes that got me looping in the first place. Nerve I wasn't expecting to be bothered by class transfers. Thank God there was a chance to visit - they not only helped him but me! I love how these visits put him in the new classroom on certain days for an hour or two before he is there full time. What I didn't expect was that visiting these changes would hit me hard. I always thought for the first time that he would be the smallest person in a new area, and I felt guilty for not being able to ease his anxiety. I would like to do better if he had ever been sad, which I said would be inevitable. What helped a lot was the confidence from his teacher that these emotions (Both his and mine) are totally normal, and they have provided me with detailed updates and great

  2. advice leading up to the day of the big change too. I think expelling him for the first time in an infant classroom will be the hardest. But I don't know if this feeling will continue as he gets older! Prepare lunch and play outdoors. Suddenly our nighttime preparation for the next day has changed dramatically! We went from packing clothes, bottles, diapers and snacks to a whole new routine. Outdoor play means snow pants and shoes (translation: we have to go shopping)! For lunch now we need a lunch box with an ice pack. There was something about a one-year-old with a lunchbox that made me feel like we sent him to college. Goodbye to crib lunch! In the classroom, toddlers' sleep will be on the mat, and for the first time, my son won't be in a crib or pack and play as he has done up to this point. I have to say I'm not sure how this will go. What I was shocked (and glad) to hear was that it was going really well! I guess playing with older kids can be tiring. It was a tremendous relief to know that the snooze period was going well and he didn't seem to need a crib anymore during the day. My fear of a lost and exhausted one year old during the day was unnecessary because this little one was much easier to adapt than I did! While I was amazed at the unexpected emotions that came with the changing classroom. But I am very happy to know that my little one is prepared for this change. And finally, I'm close to mastering the art of packaging for playgrounds!
