  3. This farmer works in the Windward Islands in the Caribbean. This green fruit has been growing on tall plants for about twelve months. The farmer is picking big bunches of the fruit. © Simon Rawles

  11. This man works in Brazil. There are lots of fields like this in Brazil. The plants can measure up to six metres! The man is cutting down the stalks. These stalks, or canes, will be washed, chopped, shredded, mixed with water and crushed to release a juice.

  13. This man works in Venezuela. He’s picking fruit from one of the cacao trees on his farm. Then he’ll open the pods and take out the beans inside.
