  2. Greek gods and goddesses • Hades was the Greek god of the Dead and, [1] he should be known as one of the Olympian gods. Hades was the supreme ruler of the Underworld. He neverleft his gloomy kingdom but was living there instead, surrounded by darkness and silence... Hades' helper was Charos, the angel of dead. Charos had the job to transfer the dead people 's souls with a boat over the River Acheron from the world of the living to the world of the dead. Furthermore, Hades had a dog with three heads which was named Cerberus.

  3. War and weapons • Shield - One of the important ancient Greek weapons was the shield. This was used by a hoplite to smash a spear of an opponent. • Knife/Sword - Along with a spear, a hoplite was expected to carry a sharp knife or a short sword. This was probably used when a spear was completely broken

  4. Food • vegetables, fruit, fish, and possibly honey cakes. Sugar was unknown to ancient Greeks, • Fish was the main source of protein • Wine was the main drink in ancient Greece • Bread was often used to scoop out thick soups.
