移行した pop.auth ファイルでの ユーザ登録. 2006 年 3 月 15 日 村下　純也. 前回の pop.auth の報告. dnsmail の /etc/pop.auth を sola の /etc/pop.auth にコピーする メールソフトを用いて受信する パスワードを dnsmail のものに設定 送受信サーバを popple.exp.db.is.kyushu-u.ac.jp と指定 “ APOP を利用する”にチェックを入れる. pop.auth ファイルの移動と動作確認報告. 結果 pop.auth をそのまま持ってくるだけで利用できる.

  2. 前回のpop.authの報告 • dnsmailの/etc/pop.authをsolaの/etc/pop.authにコピーする • メールソフトを用いて受信する • パスワードをdnsmailのものに設定 • 送受信サーバをpopple.exp.db.is.kyushu-u.ac.jpと指定 • “APOPを利用する”にチェックを入れる pop.authファイルの移動と動作確認報告 • 結果 • pop.authをそのまま持ってくるだけで利用できる

  3. 今回行うこと • dnsmailから移行したpop.authファイルを用い、APOPの新規ユーザ登録を行う

  4. APOPユーザの追加 • # popauth -user hoge • popauth: unable to open POP authentication DB /etc/pop.auth • Permission denied (13) [1046] • pop.authをdnsmailからコピーして,ユーザhogeの追加 • pop.authの所有者を確認すると # cd /etc # ls -l | grep pop.auth -rw------- 1 pop other 6144 Mar 2 15:01 pop.auth • とりあえずpopにchownし直してみる # chown pop /etc/pop.auth # ls -l | grep pop.auth -rw------- 1 pop other 6144 Mar 9 19:57 pop.auth • うまくいった # popauth -user hoge Adding only APOP passwd for hoge. New password: Retype new password:
