  3. Backbencher The Backbench is the Members of Parliament who are not Ministers or Shadow Ministers they are also known as Private Members or Senators. Back To Glossary

  4. Black Rod The Black Rod is a staff that the Usher of the Black Rod carries into the chamber. Back To Glossary

  7. Senator The Senator is someone who has been chosen, and sometimes made to fill the place of the Senate. Back To Glossary

  8. Chamber The Chamber is the room where the Members of Parliament meet to talk about things. Laws are also made in the Chamber. Back To Glossary
