  3. Ten wiggly students walking in a line. One ran off to see some friends, Now there are nine.

  4. Nine tardy students say, “Sorry I am late!” One runs back to get his books. Now there are eight.

  5. Eight students who listen- A little slice of heaven! One moves to another state, Now there are seven.

  6. Seven students play kickball, Each with the very best “kicks.” One plays too rough, sits on the bench, Now there are six.

  7. Six feverish students keep a virus alive. One throws up and goes home sick, Now there are five.

  8. Five Title Math students, line up at the door. One goes to the restroom, Now there are four.

  9. Four bike-riding students looking for a key. One calls home and gets a ride, Now there are three.

  10. Three lucky students with bubble gum to chew. One forgot and left the room... Now there are two.

  11. Two silly students looking for some fun. One went in to help the teacher, Now there is one.

  12. One happy student walking home from school. When he gets home he tells his friends, “My teacher thinks I’m really smart. I think she’s so cool!”
