  5. Introduction • LBTI exozodiacal result very important to Exoplanet Exploration Program, Astrophysics Division and to the Community • Both the Quality and Timeliness of the Result • Acknowledge LBTO and University of Arizona for support of LBTI, and working solutions for secondary AO, risk reduction, and contribution of nights for commissioning • History of ORR plans at prior PPBE dates • Going forward: emphasis on meeting threshold requirements • Current PPBE (May 1) • My assessment to Astrophysics Division of plan forward • Over-guide for science night consumed during commissioning: documented but not submitted for consideration until ORR

  6. Intended Results of Today • Conversation about what’s required to be successful • Quality of Result (L1 Baseline and Threshold) • Timeliness of: • Result (2018, inform design of future exo-Earth mission for decadal) • ORR (necessary condition: threshold requirements met) • Intended Results • A credible plan (technical and schedule), and a basis for that plan, that we can count on • Baseline of the risk reduction plan • Documented request for spares • Signed Level 1 • Record of Next Steps
