I like to ride my bike everywhere.  I like to ride on smooth pavement best.  I am not allowed to ride on the sidewalk.  People walk on the side walk. If I have time.  I ride on the bike trail in the park.

  21. COORDINATING CONJUNCTIONS -used to connect equal or similar ideas or parts of a sentence. THESE ARE: For And Nor But Or Yet So FANBOYS

  22. EXAMPLES: 1. The car was expensiveandfast. 2. The food was ready but I didn’t eat it.

  23. CORRELATIVE CONJUNCTIONS -always appear in pairs -use them to link equivalent sentence elements -consist of a coordinating conjunction linked to an adjective or adverb

  24. EXAMPLES: 1. Bring either your father or your mother at the family day. 2. Whether you like it or not, I am going to buy the set of encyclopedias.

  25. SUBORDINATING CONJUNCTIONS -connect an independent clause and a dependent clause or subordinate clause -used to express a specific relationship in time, cause, purpose, comparison, manner or condition

  26. EXAMPLES: 1. Since I will not be home, Tina will answer the phone. 2. After the player hit the ball, he ran around the bases.
