  2. Presentation of KAPION • The company was established in 2002 • Due to business expansion, the company Research and Development was relocated to Plese industrial area in Murska Sobota, a total of 5 persons employes, 2 on a regular • basis.

  3. Activities • The following projects were successfully concluded in a short period of time: • project INTERPORT (EU confinanced project, an innovative web portal design was crafted by KAPION) • project TEMPUS-NUSIC – subcontractor works

  4. EU projects • KAPION participated/or still participates in the following projects (a HOTCAST project is in the proposal phase): • ITEA-AGILE – Agile software development (ITEA programme) – partners Nokia, VTT, ESI (Spain) • IST-EASY – Agile software development (IST, 6. FP) – partners VTT, Nokia • aLEARN – eLearning software for secondary schools (PHARE regional program) • PRODHNET – Local digital content distribution – 4G communications (CELTIC call) – partners AMENA, SOLUZIONA

Proposal for MFS • KAPION proposes the following solution, consisting of: • INTRODUCTION PAGE – at which advanced animations will attract viewers and will lead them to other parts of the web site – additional info about the TEMPUS programme will be posted • WIKIPEDIA SITE – will allow professors to put materials on-line for students and industrial partners – in a selfservice manner • PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND WORKGROUP SITE – will allow the project to be managed, project notes will be gathered, schedules posted, even joint university-industry projects can be managed through the workgorup server • COMMUNCATIONS E-SERVICES OFFERED – such as subscribing of internal and external students to the learning sessions, offered by MFS

  7. INTRO PAGE INTRO page should be flashy and with advanced animations available – offering pointers to other information available.
