CLIMATE LEADERSHIP INITIATIVE • RESULTS • 50 person “Climate Brigade” reaching 1200 people in 6 months • 2 tons annual emission reduction per person, 20% electricity savings • Increases in: • energy efficient purchases • energy saving behaviors • use of alternative transportation • purchase of local foods • volunteering with organizations involved with climate change • talking to others about climate change • Decreases in: • purchase of disposable goods • Eating animal products • Addition of “climate filter” • Empowerment, community, life changing
