  1. A Man's Guide To Wearing A Scarf

  2. Ancient Romans were certainly sticklers for cleanliness when they issued the use of sweat cloths to be wrapped around necks during the warmer months. But little did they know that they set in motion, centuries ago, what would now be a fashion mainstay. What seems to be a flimsy strip of cloth, can add depth to any mundane outfit. But seriously, a scarf? In summer? You must think us crazy for suggesting an additional layer during balmy weather. *scoffs* (The least you can do is grab a long lasting perfume for men to deal with the odour). Turns out, the Romans weren’t completely crazy as a lightweight scarf can actually be useful when things heat up. So, treat this as a seasonal iteration to its winter cousins and dig into our list of ways to don a scarf in summer:

  3. The Casual Throw Around Let’s not be partial to the cotton counterpart of the heavy winter scarf. In wintery months, it may serve to shield your neck from the bite of chilly winds but come bright sunshine, this flimsy but fashionable cloth will soak up your sweat. Hard to imagine how it can actually be a boon instead of a bane? Well, it’s a lightweight, airy material, hung loosely around your neck. So the only good that comes from it, other than ramping up your style points, is that it keeps your neck region cool and protected from the sun’s glare. Draping it around your neck is rather simple. Allow it to hang on one side and throw the longer end of the scarf nonchalantly around your neck. If executed to perfection, it’ll give off a seriously casual vibe. Consider dappling some long lasting body spray before you head out.  A word of advice: Wear it over a basic, never a graphic.

  4. Under A Blazer Hot summer breeze, unbelievably blue waters splashing on the shore, a dreamy white shirt with the first two buttons undone, the smell of a mesmerizing long lasting perfume for men and a suit jacket. What do you think is missing? Mojitos? Cool, throw those in by the dozen. But you’re not done yet! We’re talking about accessorizing your summer suit. If that just raised an eyebrow (and it should!) we’re talking about ditching the tie-related accoutrements for a scarf. Simply drape it around your neck and tuck the ends under the blazer. Adding a scarf to your ensemble lets its colour and pattern lift your outfit out of its summertime sadness. Side with a silky finish that does justice to your tailored suit. And while you’re at it, a best perfume for men that lasts long is always a good idea!

  5. The Parisian Knot When you think scarves, your mind instantly goes to the classic Parisian knot simply because it was a fail-safe style regardless of the weather. It works brilliantly well with heavy fabrics as well as lighter ones. If you’re someone who is inclined towards tonal outfits, here’s your chance to step up and add a pop of colour or pattern to your outfit. Since your scarf is part of your outerwear, it gives you the best excuse to contrast it with what’s beneath. It can be best worn over a jacket or raincoat and depending on your style, you can make this scarf the center of your look through picking the flashiest of colours. The wilder, the better.

  6. As A Neck-Tie Let’s be frank, okay? Ties? They’re not for everyone! And once you get comfortable with this new piece of info, you’ll turn your attention to a breezy scarf instead. What makes summer scarfs the perfect alternative to ties is that they are usually made from thinner fabrics. And guess what? Fastening a scarf around your neck needs no YouTube tutorial, all you’ve to do is fasten an imperfect knot around your neck and you’re already oozing a devil-may-care attitude. So go on, complement your cotton suit with a scarf preferably in a silk-blend or modal design with a bit of texture. Spray on a long lasting body spray and you’re set.

  7. The Neckerchief No points for guessing that the scarf that makes up a neckerchief is an extra-thin, bandanna printed material. Texas cowboys come to mind? Good! Cause it should. It’s worth noting that a neckerchief is super casual and is usually reserved for a casual, dress down event. Also it’s simple to fasten. We mean, all you have to do is roll the fabric tight and then wrap it around your neck and make a knot in the front, it is best paired with a simple T-shirt. Now if you’re not into tying a knot around your neck for fear of things going south, we suggest you pull it over your neck and tuck the ends into your t-shirt. It’ll add a pop of colour and give your look a new dimension. And while you’ve completed your dapper look, spray on a best perfume for men that lasts long.
