The Market One of the biggest factors in driving sales is disposable income. As people consider health concerns from water pollution or even waterborne diseases, the appeal of water purifiers increases. UV, RO and Gravity based are the main purifiers available on the market for purchase so it may be prudent to look at the benefits of those 3 types in particular when deciding.
Cost • You can buy a good RO system for around $200 (US). • Gravity are cheaper at anything from $40, maybe even less and you can scale up • UV purifiers vary, anything from cheap at $30 to the hundreds • UF purifiers seem a little more expensive at around anything from $250 upwards to much more • Universal filters also vary from very cheap $20 to the hundreds
