  1. Safe Rider Turbo Timer PURPOSE: • Turbo chargers reach very high temperatures when running. When the engine is turned off, the heat from the turbine spreads to the turbo’s bearing compartment. This can cause the oil in the bearing compartment to burn, which forms harmful carbon particles. These carbon particles can settle anywhere in the engine, blocking the oil flow, causing premature failure of the turbo charger as well as the engine. • By letting the engine idle, the oil as well as the coolant is circulated through the turbo while it cools off. This prevents oil burn and eliminates the forming of harmful carbon deposits. • Safe Rider Turbo Timer takes care of the idling process for you and will shut the engine down automatically, ensuring maximum service from your turbo charger and engine.
