  1. The Easiest Way To Decide On Medicare Most of the people I meet at my free Medicare workshop are ill of hearing about Medicare. They're sick of figuring out what's best for them and are looking for simple answers. I hear how medical insurance Oregon is a nightmare, and they’re overall the insurance mailers and endless phone calls. I want you to know that I hear you and that I understand what you're saying. In this email, I'll provide you with a Medicare shortcut that I believe is the simplest way to make your Medicare decision. Now, there are some easy steps for anyone to follow to make your Medicare decision. When Should You Enroll in Medicare? When you turn 65, Medicare rules state that you must obtain "creditable" health insurance coverage or you will face penalties. That means you're either on Medicare or have coverage that complies with Medicare's requirements. Examine your current coverage to see if it is creditable. Join Medicare if you don't already have it. If you don't have health insurance when you turn 65, you should enroll in Medicare.

  2. Know Which Medicare Program to Select Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage are the two types of Medicare programs. Many factors go into determining which program is best for you, but the most important ones are what your doctors accept and how flexible you want your Medicare coverage to be. Choose Your Medicare Company If you wish to enroll in Medicare Advantage, you must first decide which company you want to enroll with. If you choose Original Medicare, you would need to also enroll in a Medigap plan to cover the costs that Medicare does not pay. Choose Your Medicare Part D Plan Another Medicare rule states that by the age of 65, you must have "creditable" prescription drug coverage or risk penalties. Either through an employer plan or by enrolling in a Medicare Part D plan, you will have creditable coverage. If you choose Medicare Advantage, your plan will most likely include Medicare Part D coverage. The step has been proven to work for the thousands of people we’ve helped with their Medicare decision. Bottom Line To get help with your Medicare decision, you can call health insurance plans Oregon professional agents.
