  3. Come, almighty to deliver,Let us all thy grace receive;Suddenly return, and never,Never more thy temples leave.Thee we would be always blessing,Serve thee as thy hosts above,Pray, and praise thee, without ceasing,Glory in thy perfect love.

  4. Finish then thy new creationPure and spotless let us be;Let us see thy great salvation,Perfectly restored in thee,Changed from glory into glory,Till in heaven we take our place,Till we cast our crowns before thee,Lost in wonder, love, and praise!

  5. Morning has broken Like the first morning,Black bird has spoken Like the first bird.Praise the singing! Praise for the morning!Praise for them springing Fresh from the Word! Morning has broken Like the first morning,Black bird has spoken Like the first bird.Praise the singing! Praise for the morning!Praise for them springing Fresh from the Word!

  6. Sweet the rain's new fall Sunlit from heaven,Like the first dewfall On the first grass.Praise for the sweetness Of the wet garden,Sprung in completeness Where His feet pass.

  7. Mine is the sunlight! Mine is the morning.Born of the one light Eden saw play!Praise with elation, Praise ev'ry morning,God's recreation Of the new day!

  8. 2 Timothy 1:1-7 1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, in keeping with the promise of life that is in Christ Jesus, 2 To Timothy, my dear son: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. Thanksgiving 3 I thank God, whom I serve, as my ancestors did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers. 4 Recalling your tears, I long to see you, so that I may be filled with joy. 5 I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also. Appeal for Loyalty to Paul and the Gospel 6 For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

  9. 2 Timothy 4:6-8 6 For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

  10. John 15:12-17 12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit, fruit that will last and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. 17 This is my command: Love each other.

  11. Seek Ye first the kingdom of God, And His righteousness, And all these things, shall be added onto you, Alleu, alleuia

  12. Man shall not live by bread alone, But by every word That proceeds from the mouth of God Alleu, Alleuia

  13. Ask and it shall be given unto you, Seek and ye shall find. Knock and the door shall be opened onto you. Alleu, Alleuia

  14. “Handing on the torch”

  15. And did those feet in ancient timeWalk upon England's mountain green? And was the holy Lamb of GodOn England's pleasant pastures seen? And did the countenance divineShine forth upon our clouded hills? And was Jerusalem builded hereAmong those dark satanic mills?

  16. Bring me my bow of burning gold!Bring me my arrows of desire!Bring me my spear! O clouds, unfold!Bring me my chariot of fire!I will not cease from mental fight,Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand,Till we have built JerusalemIn England's green and pleasant land.

  17. Lord our God, you are the same, yesterday, today and forever, yet you are making all things new. We are here because you have called us into your service, led by your Spirit, following where you lead. As we thank you for the faithfulness of the past for those who began this work 135 years ago so too, we thank you for today’s vision which has led to the establishing of the Wesley Playhouse.

  18. As the torch of faith is passed on may we remain faithful to our calling; as the work of this church moves into a new chapter may we continue to support it with our love and our prayers; and may we, young and old together continue to be blessed by your grace. In Jesus’ name. Amen

  22. ChorusAnd it's from the old I travel to the new, Keep me travelling along with you.

  23. As I travel through the bad and good Keep me travelling the way I should. Where I see no way to go You'll be telling me the way, I know.

  24. ChorusAnd it's from the old I travel to the new, Keep me travelling along with you.
