  1. OM B Operation Bulletin B-O-2013-01 WEIGHTBOOK (previously Annex 15) 1. Introduction 2. Dry Runway Weightbook 3. Wet Runway Analysis 4. Contaminated Runway 5. Failures 6. Line Up Correction

  2. 1. Introduction • The information herein applies to A319 but same philosophy applies for the A320. • The weight charts enable the crew to determine for a given runway • 1. Either the maximum allowable take-off weight for the existing temperature and wind conditions. • 2. Or for a given aircraft weight, the maximum temperature at which a take- off would be permitted. • A specific chart is established for each runway and for a given configuration. • Computation is done for Air Conditioning Bleed OFF and Engine Anti-ice OFF by default. • The chart is based on standard atmospheric pressure and takes into account the significant obstacles along the specified Engine Failure Procedure. • Pressure corrections are printed on the chart.

  16. 4. Contaminated Runway 4.1 Definitions • For definition of equivalent between depth of slush and snow refer to FCOM PER-TOF-CTA-20. 4.2 Conservative Method 4.3 Rules Thrust: ........................................................................................... FULL take-off thrust is mandatory. Flaps: ........................................................... Takeoff can be made using any available configuration. Brakes: ........................................................................... All brakes and antiskid must be operational. Reversers: ...................................................................................................... All must be operational. Wind: ............................................................................................................................ NO TAILWIND Max. crosswind : .......................... See FCOM LIM-12 Maximum crosswind on contaminated runway Max. depths : ....................... dry snow / 51 mm, wet snow / 25 mm, slush & standing water / 13 mm.

  22. 4.5 Contaminated Chart Not Available CAUTION Takeoff on contaminated runways when no specific weight chart exists is not allowed. FCOM PER-TOF-CTA-40 Correction tables are based on Minimum V1 computation, which is not the case for BEL A32F weightbook.

  23. 6. Line-up Correction The weightbook sheet will provide the applicable line-up correction, which was used for the takeoff performance correction: 1. LUZ: Line-up zero – no correction for line up 2. LUH: Line-up half – typical 90° access to runway 3. LUF: Line-up full – typical 180° access to runway
